How long are counseling sessions?

Sessions typically last 50 minutes. Frequency is determined collaboratively based on your treatment plan, but many clients begin with weekly sessions and adjust over time as progress is made.

Do you offer in person counseling services?

No, we are a fully virtual practice. All counseling sessions are conducted securely online, allowing you to access care from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we currently accept Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield. For clients without coverage through these providers, we also offer out-of-pocket payment options. Please contact us if you have questions about rates, payment plans, or verifying your benefits.

What types of issues do you address in therapy?

We support clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, trauma, and more. If you’re unsure whether we can help, we encourage you to schedule a consultation.

What should I expect during my first session?

Your initial session will include a comprehensive intake assessment where your counselor will gather information about your current concerns, personal history, and therapeutic goals. This sets the foundation for your personalized treatment plan.

What types of therapy do you use?

Our therapists use a blend of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care. Each plan is customized to meet your unique needs and goals.

Do you offer faith-based counseling?

Yes. While our approach is clinically grounded, we honor and integrate faith-based perspectives for clients who desire it. We believe that spiritual alignment can be a powerful part of the healing journey.

Is therapy confidential?

Absolutely. We follow all HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards to protect your privacy and ensure a safe, secure environment for your healing.

Can more than one family member join a session?

Yes. In family counseling, multiple members are welcome and often encouraged to participate, depending on the treatment plan. Your therapist will help guide what is most supportive for the goals identified.
